Book Club & Film Club
On the 2nd Sunday of every month, DEAD INK FILM CLUB (sponsored by MUBI) will meet at the bookshop to discuss a recent release or classic film, led by cinema expert Dr Jenny Barrett of Edge Hill University. Purchase a ticket for a Film Club event and you'll receive a free month of streaming with MUBI via e-mail - many of the films we'll be discussing are from MUBI's curated collection of arthouse, cult and classic cinema.
On the final Sunday of the month, DEAD INK BOOK CLUB will discuss a recent book published either by Dead Ink or another of our favourite indie publishers, led by book-group-impresarios and good-friends-of-the-shop Alyssa Lloyd and Lauren Archer.
