Dead Ink Bookshop is proud to host a special night of ambience, song and recital from artists Lili Holland-Fricke and In Atoms.

Lili is a British-German experimental cellist, music-writer, and improviser based in Manchester. Her music weaves together unusual textures and sounds from the cello, electronics and her voice, with words that evoke dreamlike images and feelings. For this performance at Dead Ink Books, she’ll be performing unplugged, intertwining her own songs with movements of Bach’s solo cello suite 6.

In Atoms uses tape loops, field recordings, and everyday sounds to create a mournful and unsettling ambient music. combined with abstracted and dilated video projections, their uncommon live performances invite the audience to commune and expunge our collective sadness at the state of the world. In Atoms performs occasionally and in unique settings; catch it before it disappears for another two years.
