TIN CAN offers a chance for Liverpool-based writers to come together and read any new/in-progress work to each other. Held at Dead Ink Bookshop from 4-6pm on the second Sunday of each month, all forms of writing are welcome whether it be fiction, nonfiction, poetry or experimental.
The aim of TIN CAN is to provide a regular welcoming space in Liverpool for those of us who wince at the word ‘networking’. This will be a gentle, informal atmosphere of reading, peer encouragement, as well as providing an all important ‘deadline’ / kick up the bum for those of us too lazy to self motivate.
Spaces are limited to 10 people, so booking in advance is required. Tickets are £2, available online via the Dead Ink Bookshop. (Ticket prices can be redeemed on any purchases in the bookshop on the day). Bring your work and try to keep it under 800 words.
Led by local Writers/Artists Chris Jenkins, Craig Sinclair and Phoebe Thomas who aim for this to be a welcoming and non-scary space.
